WEDDINGS AND ENGAGEMENTS
I LOVE WEDDINGS. So much, in fact, that Javier and I had two weddings: one in Nashville and one in Santiago, Chile! As a recent bride, I know how important wedding photography is to the couple and their family and friends. It's more than just getting the posed family shots and the bride and groom portraits; it's capturing the groom's great-grandma dancing to Lil Wayne, getting shots of the best man trying to hold it together during a toast, and making sure the couple has pictures of everything they want to remember, and maybe a few things they wouldn't mind forgetting. My philosophy for weddings? It's got to be all about having fun. Javier and I didn't have a reception - we had a party. We had an absolute blast. I want the couples I work for to concentrate on that one thing: having fun. In the mean time, I dedicate myself to capturing the bride and groom, and everyone else, in their element having what I'm positive will be the best day and night of their lives. SPORT ACTION SHOTS
My mom always hated taking her camera to my brother's little league and high school games because she knew the parents would designate her as the team photographer. She didn't want to miss any plays because she was taking pictures, so she would always give the camera to me to get all of the action shots. I am familiar with every sport imaginable (between my brother and myself we participated in almost every team sport available to kids growing up) and that knowledge allows me to anticipate important moments in a game. You can hire me as an individual parent to take pictures of your kid during a game / match / meet / competition OR as a whole team. PARTIES / EVENTS
For pretty much my whole life my friends and I have ALWAYS said "I really wish we could get a photographer to just follow us around and document the fun we are having!" So, I'm here to remedy that problem. I'll tag along with your bachelor/ette or birthday party and capture all of the moments just in case you can't remember them the next day. I'll be a fly-on-the-wall during your baby shower, bridal shower, or baptism celebration to document everything. If you're planning a 25th, 50th, or any year anniversary celebration, quinceañera, world cup victory party, what am I missing? Make sure I'm there to capture all of the best moments so you don't have to worry about bringing your camera. I'll take care of the pictures so you can let loose and enjoy yourself.
PORTRAITS
In my opinion, one can never have too many family photos. In fact, in my experience, most families don't have enough really nice family portraits. I'm not talking about the kind of portrait with a gray canvas background, but I can do that too if you really want. Contact me for portraits for any occasion, be it a Valentine's Day couple shoot, anniversary shoot, engagement shoot, senior portraits, family portraits, brand new baby portraits, etc. There is no limit to the number of occasions where it is appropriate, or just fun, to get a photo shoot and replenish your family photo albums!
